NPCC (Sea) is one of only three such units in Singapore. The set up of the NPCC (Sea) Unit is similar to that of the existing NPCC (Land) Units in term of organisational Structure, composition, appointments, functions and will receive 50% of Maritime based training. The maritime trainings include navigation, maritime operations, communications as well as seamanship. Furthermore, the cadets are exposed to the handling of the HKMP5A4 and will be involved in a sea sortie yearly.
