A non-core interest group CCA, the club was reintroduced in the year 2002, with the objective of creating greater awareness amongst the school population in matters relating to environmental education.
The main events organized by the club (intra-school), would be Earth Day and activities during the post-exam period. Members will also have the opportunity to learn research skills related to Plant Tissue Culture & Hybridization in the Agrobiology Laboratory. Members are also expected to facilitate the running of the recycling program in school.
Students (including non-members) will be encouraged to participate in the Scholastic Environment Forum (interschool) which is an annual event and other competitions related to environmental education. [CCA points will be awarded]
The club is looking for a pioneering group of students who can encourage and lead the school in environmental related activities.
