CyberAC is part of the Electronic Media Technology Resource Department which runs a cybergame centre with 38 gaming stations and 2 server computers. The objective of the CCA is to offer students an opportunity to manage the operations behind a cybergaming centre. At the same time, we serve the student population who are cybergame enthusiasts. Situated right above the canteen, many students patronize us after school from Tuesday to Friday 3 to 5 pm. Our members pick up practical skills and content pertaining to computer hardware such as computer specifications, capacity and assembly. They would be trained to maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot computer failures.
Up to date, we offer 3 games:
1. Warcraft
2. Need for Speed
3. Counterstrike
which are the mainstays of World Cyber Games.
In addition to meeting every Monday from 3 to 5 pm in CyberAC , members have to do one duty (mending the CyberAC) once a week. We also organize Cybergames competition so members do get the chance to exercise their creativity and leadership.
Finally, when it comes to CyberAC, we believe "It's more than just a game." (our motto)
